Each storefront sets its own policy
Bhaarat Bazaar is a marketplace of independent sellers. The seller behind each storefront decides what is returnable, the return window and how refunds are issued. The exact policy is shown on the seller’s storefront and on each product page where it differs from the default.
Default return window
Unless the seller states otherwise, you can request a return within 7 days of delivery for items that arrive damaged, defective or significantly different from what was listed. The product must be unused, in its original packaging, with tags and accessories intact.
Items that cannot be returned
Custom-made, personalised or made-to-order items, perishable goods, intimate products, and digital downloads are typically non-returnable. The product page will say so explicitly.
How to raise a return
Open the order from your Orders page, choose "Return" and select a reason. The seller will respond within 2 working days with pickup details or a self-ship address. Keep photos of the item and the unopened packaging in case the seller asks for them.
Refund timelines
Once the seller confirms receipt of the returned item, refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 working days. Bank credits may take an additional 2–3 days to reflect.
Cancellations
You can cancel before the seller dispatches the order — usually a window of 12–24 hours. Once dispatched, you’ll need to follow the return flow instead.
Disputes
If you can’t reach a resolution with the seller, escalate to support@bhaaratbazaar.com with your order ID and a short note. We mediate and, where appropriate, invoke buyer protection.
